Ok guys im wanting to install a WB, with my .57 trim and Maft-Pro, I have a Aftermarket Dp with only 1 bung on it. Can I replace my o2 sensor with the WB? Or will I need a seperate bung. The Dp is from titan, But if theres a way to wire it in to the factory system or bypass it I would like to do this.

You need a seperate bung for the wideband and you want to put it farther away from the turbo, like two feet downstream, and off to the side, not the bottom or condensation will collect there, plus you dont want it hanging low where it can get hit. You can run without the stock, but you dont want to start that way, you will need both to get it tuned right, and even then, unplugging stocker and using PT tracking is not reccomended if you dont have thorough knowledge of the pro AND tccs.

ok got a deal on a bung put in (freebie) So im just going to throw a spare o2 sensor in there to keep it plugged for now. So really right side 2 feet down from turbo should be fine? Or maybe I should try left side might be more clearance? I tore it all down today and am doing a couple little projects right now trying to clean it up a little (taking charcoal canister out, and also moving the coil packs to the firewall right above the motor and maybe going to try and tuck the wiring harness if I can find a good enough spot.

Ok so lemme ask 1 more ? I don't need the guage correct? I can wire my a/f guage into the wideband and then tune on maft pro? so I don't pay out the ass for something I don't need. And any suggestions on what to do with my SAFC-II?

lmao...are you asking if you can use a light show AF gauge as a gauge for a wb sensor?

heh ...no that doesnt work... a AF gauge scale is around 1 volt for narrowband setups.... a wideband gauge scale is around 5 volts for a wide band setup....

what wb sensor did you buy? the gauge is more the expensive part in most cases...

Yep.. Read the install instructions it will tell you how far down the pipe it should be.. I have heard of putting it in the test pipe as well.. You do run the risk of something knocking it off.. Not too likely but could happen.. Most WB need to be at least 6 in away from the turbo. I think someone else mentioned it as well.. Do not mount it where condensation will rest on the sensor..

It's more like 24"... I think an EGT gauge would be more like 6" from the turbo (or pre-turbo preferably). If you mount the WB in the testpipe at a 1-3 o'clock position there should be no problems with condensation. This position is also optimal for keeping anything from hitting it too. It's just me, but when I put my WB in the test pipe I'm fabbing up a shield to cover up that area. You can never be too safe ;). Also remember to tuck up the wires pretty good. Iirc there's a hole near the testpipe that will allow the wiring to be brought up inside the car, around the seats I think...

wideband in the test pipe is a bit too far downstream for me...
