Why so many spring mods and no sway bars?

I've noticed reading thru many discussions that most people seem to go all out on springs but not that many go all out on the tires and sway bars which is the way I have gone with every car I've ever owned. Im curious to hear from those who have found the same as I that sway bars and sticky tires make any car handle like a slot car. I feel my stock TEMS systems is awesome I get the best of both works when it comes to spring rates. I also never lower my cars since I drive on the street and many a time have bounced through a nasty dip with no damage to anything except my pride for not seeing it soon enough to slow the heek down.

its because a lot of people on here drag race, and you dont need sway bars, and strut bars and such arent as important in a straight line that around turns.

I come from a land down under
Geez: I went with a little stiffer Springs + Koni Yellows then had a Pair of solid Bars made, this way I have vertical compliance with minimal roll making the car really comfortable to drive!

Most people like to lower their car first before anything else. That's the honest truth IMO.

Personally, I run Tein Flex coilovers and Bridgestone Potenza S-03 tires, and I absolutely love it. The reason I don't have swaybars yet: I haven't decided what I want yet, but they're coming soon, no doubt. I'd like a nice complete package, even though I do love the way it feels now.

None of your fucking business
Tein Flex coilovers, ST Swaybars, Front and Rear Strut bars, 245's and 275's. RAILS.... Next handling upgrade for me will be seats and belts to keep me in the seat...

These mods add up quick. Lowering is first on peoples lists just like Jeff said. Lowering helps the handling some, but its only the first step to realize the full potential of the supra.

True. I lowered my car because i had a ridiculous amount of wheel gap... Way more than I've seen on most Supras. Plus, I needed struts badly, and ordered them at the same time.

Although Im not much into drag racing anymore it would seem to me that the stock TEMS on the normal setting would be great for a stomp on it transfer of weight from front to rear since its so soft on that setting. I cant stand it on that setting I feel like Im floating down the road in a old cadildolac boat. I do undestand not using sway bars for drag racing though. In the past with my muscle cars I always felt they helped on launch by keeping the rear end level and twist to a minimum but the benifits for avoiding accidents far out weighs running a car without them. Once you have a sway bar its point, gas and hold on cause the car is going in that direction. That's the feel I love the most I run Suspension Techniques bars, if anyone uses tham I have a question. There are two holes on the ends whats the difference with the two holes and I would imagine it has to do with stiffness but Im not sure any input would be greatly appreciated. I too will eventually upgrade my shocks since I think the front passenger side is weak. I will probably go with Tokico ILLUMINA II so I can still have that TEMS adjustment.

With my coilovers and being lowered 3" on 18"s I could not even imagine how FLAT the car would handle with front AND rear sway bars....it would be alike a full out drift car!.

I am comfortable with my car for RIGHT NOW....that $320 ( pair of ST sways) can go to somethine else for right now....I do and would like sways, but I have better things to spend my money on.

I got my Suspension Techniques Sway Bar Set #52215 for my 89 N/A from Summit Racing for 230.00 they came with poly bushings 1 1/8 front bar 15/16 rear bar. Mines not as much a drifter as it is point steer and hold on with the bar and tire combo I run.
