Why Only 1 Bar..

I have a 62-1 with 550's walbro fuel pump, Lex.air meter and hks elec.boostcontroler,neo afc and the dreaded stock waste gate my boost is all the way up at only 1 Bar and at 274 hp...Question is it the stock gate or could it be the boost controler that is not allowing me greater HP.

for one your making horrible power if ur 62-1 at 1 bar is only making 274 rwhp. you could try and shim the wastegate, i could never hold boost until i did that.

Well i dont think so ..how can i tell i have the SSQV with the HPF inter..kit

Wow...I'm sorry but you should REALLY be making more horsepower than that.
What was your AFR when you dynoed? When I had my first SSQV, it leaked and I never knew it until tearing it apart and saw there was a MASSIVE leak.
I was so positive I didn't have a boost leak but I had the symtoms...The BOV answered it all...So check that out as well.

Also, I'm sure you need a really good tuning job. But with 550's & Lex AFM combo, there is no reason why you shouldn't be WELL over the 300rw mark without getting fully tuned.

i'm with the rest of the guys. i made 289rwhp 295tq at 15psi on the stock turbo, and mine has chipped impeller blades and shaft play...

you should be quite a bit above that on 1 bar.

if i had a decent stock turbo on my car, i'd have easily reached 300rwhp.

yea deinfately. i made 296 rwhp at suprafest at 10 psi tapering downt o 8-9. intake and exhaust, hard pipes stock turbo. no tuning. but yea i would check on the bov, my buddies hks was leaking harsh.
