Why do these people keep buying Mustang GT's if there to scared to even race them? I live in a small city in Alabama, and I'll admit we probably have the worst cops in the whole state, but if I'm lucky enough to see a gt while I'm driving my supra I cant get them to race. I smoked a 300ZX thursday night and was feeling pretty good when I seen a maroon mustang gt pulling out of the college in sumiton. I pulled over in Block Buster Videos parking lot and waited for him to come by. I pulled out right behind him and followed him out of sumiton(5 miles out of my way) When I got behind him I noticed it was a Roush Mustang, probably a 2003. Anyways, he pulls into the right lane and I pull up beside him and keep gunning it a little. He wont bite. I roll my window down and try to get his attention, but he wont roll his down. I follow beside him for about a mile, and finally just take off, but he still wouldnt race. I went abought six or seven miles past my house for nothing. It really pissed me off that he wouldnt race. I dont know if he thought I wasnt worthy or what, but he refused to race!!! I've never lost to a GT, but was willing to give him a chance.

well if someone followed me for 7 miles and pulled over waiting for me and rolled down the window and hollered some crap at me i'd be creeped out to race, its to awkward if somone did that to me i'd feel like someone is watching me and waiting for me to go with a radar gun.

no offense but you probably just scared them before you had a chance to race them, a little cat and mouse on the road should do it, if they dont bite beyond that they're just gonna get spooked. if you did that to me A. i'd think your gonna pull up to me and shoot me. B. think you have something to brag about like a 2jz conversion that i dont want to mess with. or C. Stalking me.

american jeebus, I didnt pull up next to him after trying to get him to race. I pulled into a median and was turning around. He pulled up next to me, and I never said anything to him. I rolled down my window because they are tinted and so were his. I didn't follow beside him the whole way, because I was in front of him and beside him at different times. He may have been scared I was going to shoot him or something, but it's not like I live in Compton or Harlem where drive bys are common. Isnms, It's not like we were going to race llike were on the autobahn. If he outran me to about a hundred then I would quit, and if I was ahead at a hundred then I would quit. It was late at night and no one was near us on a straight highway, but everyone is entitled to their opinion. I just didnt realize that I'm the only one that has ever wanted to race on the highway. There are a lot of posts on the Kills section and I dont think their are too many of them that happend at the racetrack.

when you loose control and crossover the median and kill the children in that minivan coming up over the hill, around the curve, or changing a flat on the side of the road.
just tell the family your were going to quit at 100.

No I have never street raced.
I do drive above the speed limit, like 70-80, on the interstate.

This one just caught my eye cause:

It's all fun and games till someone looses an eye, or a life.

edit: Usually I don't even read the kills posts because seldom are they about kills at the track.

Alright, this thread is done. There wasn't even a kill, you just followed some guy in a Roush. I've followed some nice cars, not trying to get them to race but I don't post about them in the Kill section.
