Why 550's?

Maybe I'mmissing something here, but I've thought this question out over a few days... why are 550's nessesary for ~14 PSI.

I have stock, freshly cleaned 440s with a VPC and an LC1 wideband.

I'm running ~12 PSI on my e01 and i'm at low 10's afr... since i'm still so rich i'm going to try more boost today and see what happens...

should I be concerned about duty cycle? there's no way to montiro that i've been told....

Yes. It's not good to run at 100% duty cycle all the time... Why not run bigger injectors at a lower duty cycle?
Basically, it's like "I can travel at 100mph in 3rd. Should I use 5th?"
