I was just curious, who has kept their original sawblades and loved them. Theres no doubt some cars look way better with some custom rims, but Im starting to think, since mine are in such awesome condition, why not just keep em on there? They dont make it look ugly to me, I might get them painted either chrome or powdercoat black, what ya think?

Sorry for the randomness, I saw under Loki's name it said Sawblade Lovin Mod, made me think to ask who else.

i honestly like mine well enough to not dislike them lol.

everyone is so obsessed with rims any more its just crazy. people act like rims make the car. so i like having something thats not chrome and not all flashy. i like getting the odd comments and stares. when people ask why i dont have 'xxxxxx type' rims and i tell them because i like these ones. that always just throws them for a loop.

powder black would look nice or white even(depending on the car). rims are on the bottom of the list for me though.

I'd get something other than the sawblades if i saw anything that looked half decent. I have a set of TSW EVO's (nor the R's, the original bad boys), but they're 4-stud. Those would look good on the Supe i think. Either that, or chunky, understated 5-spokes in matte gunmetal.

Until i find something like that, i stay with the 'blades :/

Same, my cars white, MIGHT go black on the paint, so didnt know what to make my blades. Im not concerned with the overall look of the car except the interior right now. Im more concerned with the engine.

Seen Tokyo Drift? He drove what looked like a dirty POS in the beggining, that thing hauled fucking ass...love it.

I prefer understated looks over 'loud and lairy', it's always easy to get kills in a street sleeper. People think 'aaah he's driving a POS' and their jaws just drop when you waste them at the lights and become a speck on the horizon

Even better when the cars stock and the person attempting to humiliate you has no idea the power these beasts have. Like I said b4 in another post somewhere, this fuckin kid in a V8 thought he was the shit and just down talked my car at a light and wanted to run... he passed me by a min later flicking me off and running a red light to save the embaressment of stopping next to me so I can just laugh...:biglaugh:

sad thing is alot of the kids out there street racings will be thinking 'man those rims were ugly' after you blow them away. then go on to say how their 'racing rims' are much cooler on their otherwise stock car.

Yeah we had PLENTY of slowdown time for the light when it hit yellow, he blazed through it at 90 - 100mph 3 seconds later after it turned red, dumb fucking kid.
