Long story short, I need a new hood and am thinking about C/F.

I am more concerned with fit and asthetics than I am with weight (so shoot me) and I was wondering if you use your stock hood hardware or lockdown pins and different hinges or what?

How much $$$?

I know some of you guys have them on your car and I'd appreciate the benefit of your experience so I don't do something stupid (like usual).

Carbon Fibre FX, I wouldn't buy a hood from anyone else than them. I've seen the quality of the hoods in person, they are awesome.

does anyone make fiberglass hoods for the supra? I'm looking for one in OEM shape. How much do they run?

CarbonFibreFX should still make them. I dont see it listed on his website, but just give Duane a call; 1.800.421.9390
He should be able to help you out. IIRC it was like $450? Just call him. :D

awesome, thanks for the info. And, yes i'm trying to lose weight from the car, my hoods got a ding or two in it so before i get paint i'd like to have a nice lightweight fiberglass hood.

Thanks I was just going to have a straight line follow up the cowl but my painter suggested flames to match the same color of flames on my custom painted bike he also did.
