Hey all,
As some of you may know, since 10.27.09 I've been trying to get my Supra on the road. Here's my story, split into a few posts because of the image limit.

Timeline up until car was drivable. After this timeline, you need to read the posts in the next pages!

02.17.10- Got exhaust done , set timing with light, drove the car home!
02.16.10- Bolted up new temporary turbo , purchased muffler, relocated power steering (AGAIN)
02.15.10- Finished up throttle cable! Drove the car for the first time, blew turbo even more!!
02.12.10- Master cyl, dead, purchased new one , installed, bled, replaced injector o-rings, spark plugs
02.11.10- Purchased oil feed fitting for turbo, hooked up oil drain, and oil cooler return lines, added fluids
02.10.10- Purchased intake pipe, afpr fitting and a 3" coupler from BMPC, got all that installed.
02.09.10- Exhaust manifold installed, wg installed, turbo installed, afpr + ps res mounted, ic piping DONE
02.08.10- Intercooler mounted, pipes mocked up and cut, fuel/afpr completed, hid ballasts moved, oil cooler mounted
02.06.10- Purchased intercooler , clutch soft line installed, starter installed, battery harness installed
02.05.10- Dropped the motor in, installed shifter, slave cyl, driveshaft, harness, etc. all bolted up.
02.03.10- Finished belt installation, clutch installation, bolted up tranny, installed harness
02.02.10- Installed valve cover screws (gaboonviper85), serp. belt, fabbed alt bracket
01.30.10- Purchased TiAL 50mm BOV.. BLACK. Purchased TiAL 50mm Flange
01.29.10- Installed timing belt, lower cover, crank pulley, A/C compressor & brackets
01.27.10- Flipped motor over, installed plugs, wires, coil packs, afpr, retorqued cams
01.26.10- Completed installation of bearings, thrust washers, oil pump, oil pan.
01.25.10- Installed factory clutch hard line, new aisin master cyl, and brake/clutch pedals
01.22.10- TAURUS (my dd) IS DEAD
01.22.10- Ordered clutch, slave, thrust washers
01.18.10- Ordered new hood shocks
01.16.10- Ordered tranny crossmember and mount
01.14.10- Ordered new oil pump
01.12.10- Went in to replace bearings, and one is eaten up really bad. Cause: OIL PUMP
01.11.10- Timing components installed, intake manifold installed
01.05.10- New parts installed, waiting on tensioner to install belts
01.04.10- New parts ordered, new block painted, assembling soon
12.26.09- Ordered alternator relocation bracket
12.24.09- Ordered SAFCII Black
12.21.09- Stripped new motor to replace worn parts
12.16.09- Ordered urethane mounts, clutch fork, and R154 shifter
12.14.09- Shop is MOVING so delays are unavoidable
12.08.09- Motor picked up!
12.04.09- Dropped payment for new 7M-GTE motor
11.24.09- Engine bay pressure cleaned, some parts replaced, painted, etc.
11.19.09- Decision was made to replace, not rebuild. Engine is OUT.
11.12.09- Wet test revealed both rings and valve seals were bad
11.11.09- Compression test revealed 4 dead cyl.
11.10.09- Got new tranny in car, car moves with LITTLE power
11.09.09- New tranny obtained, old tranny is out
11.06.09- Car delivered to shop
10.27.09- Purchased car

Car is delivered to the shop (11.06.09)! Bought it from New Jersey, 91 Black Turbo w/sunroof. I'm told It's got a dead tranny and a misfiring engine. We'll see.

After putting in a new auto (11.10.09) and working on the motor. We've determined thru a compression test (11.11.09 & 11.12.09) that the motor needs WORK. So, I've started to rip it apart. (11.13.09) Engine is out, stripped, and the junk was junked. (11.19.09)

Engine bay is cleaned (11.24.09)

Dropped payment for new 7M-GTE 12.04.09 and picked it up on 12.08.09.

Got this for a steal IMO. It's been sitting for about a year in a MKIII at a friends house. They had a rear end issue or something, nothing MAJOR wrong with the motor but it needs a refresher obviously. Specs?

-Brian crower rods
-Forged pistons (I forget what brand)
-ACL Bearings
-ARP Heads
-Bored .020 over
-Oversized valves
-Comes with FFIM, Q45 TB, Turbonetics Racegate
-Turbonetics T76 DBB, bad seal tho.

Got some new clutch parts in, installed new master, factory hard line, and pedals for 5spd conversion.

IC Pipes mocked up (02.08.10), we did not have the right stuff to run it how I wanted, so the temporary turbo is temporarily clocked upword. Oh well, it's just for a few days.
