I don't want to offend you but If your "new" that whiste is most likely your factory bov releasing pressure from your intercooler pipes back into your intake.(Recirculating air) If you hear it when on the gas you could have a boost leak or your bov is going bad and leaking air. Later-T

if its a noise ontop of the blow off valve, heh, maybe your venting outside possible loose return hose to accordian.
but hey ya never know maybe someon jammed a whistle into your accordian hose.........

holy shit i wonder if anyone has ever done that.

Probably to get the sound... but still keep the engine from stalling from not getting so rich after it vents.

it could be his turbo "unspooling" and quite possibly its on its way out.. and the bearings are being noisy.

that or its the NAWZ...and his diamond plate floor pan bolts are coming unglued.

Have you heard the Greddy Type-RS or S for that matter. I have the 'S' model on my car and I'm running 11psi. It whistles louder then shit into the atmosphere. Yes I can recirculate it but then I wouldn't have that beautiful sound. Besides my car has a enough power to get around. It's most likely your bov you hear. Later-T

Im willing to bet its your alternator. Have somebody step on the gas when your under the hood and listen for the whine. I had an issue with that recently.

my turbo unspools when I let off the gas....but thats because I have an open downpipe.....I think

the turbo always unspools when you let off the gas. you just hear it a whole lot more with open downpipe.
