I'm going to install my gt35r onto Vonda's car. I've already ordered a new manifold for it from ebay but all I can get is one with a t4 flange welded onto it. I need a t4 to t3 adapter since my 35r turbo has a t3 flange on it. Do I need the one that raises it up and angles it or will a basic 3/4" thick one with the four holes drilled into it work? I searched for a few threads and it seems different people go different routes. I just thought I'd ask before I bought something that isn't going to work. Thanks in advance.

Hey brother, my friend BOOSTED2085 welded the T3 flange on top of the t4. He had bought one of the t4-t3 adapters from ebay and his Hx35 was sitting nasty high. Good luck bro

Are you saying the one that is raised higher might be better or will it be too high when you tell me to stack two of them. Here are the ones I'm looking at.

Let me know what you guys think of these. It may be easier to buy a t4 flanged turbo...............but I doubt it. I'm kinda partial to the gt35r that I have.

I have the flange in the middle link,1/2 in,as far as stacking them i was meaning the clearance of the compressor housing to the manifold,im just using one plate and im nowhere near the top of the valve covers. The first pic i posted was with the turbo blanket so it looked a little higher.Heres the pic w/o the blanket

I'm putting a HX35W holset turbo with a tial wastegate on my new motor. I have everything made to make it work I just need to put the motor in the car. I even made a ct26-t3 adapter so I can use the stock manifold.

I ended up going with an adapter plate that is angled so it turns the turbo a bit more. I also had to order a oil filter relocation kit. I've got it installed but now the runners of the exhaust manifold won't let the oil drain screw onto the plug that's bolted to the block. I'm not having to take the manifold to a welder and have him cut the runner and reweld it so that it's about an inch higher. This has been one screwed up project. I know it will be worth it in the end, but right now I'm pretty frustrated with the whole thing.

I'll have a look for it next time I'm in the shed J, if it's there it'll be a minimal charge + shipping.

That's right up my alley then. I can have the one I've got already welded, but it wouldn't be an Ian manifold.......:biglaugh:

I'm hoping for warmer weather here this week so I can get something done to her car. It's been miserably cold and rainy here the last week.
