Have you asked a question and had it answered on here by some of our geniuses? Have you had help from other local members? Who do you feel tries to help us less edumacated?
I needed to degree my cams this past weekend and Brian (slow66) pm'd me his number and talked me through it step by step. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. I feel he went above and beyond the call of duty of another supra owner. I also had help from Jdub and others that posted links for me that helped.

I've also had numerous questions answered for me through pm's by IJ, jetjock, jdub and others. I feel this is one of the most helpful websites on the internet. Our moderators and administrators are awesome to work with, and I would't change this site at all, unless it was to have my car in the rotation, but that's only because I'm conceited and vain in that way............:biglaugh:

If this is in the wrong section, I apologize, and no it doesn't surprise me.

IJ, JJ, Jdub, Doward, DrJonez and Supracentral have answered most of my questions... I love this site

But of course you Jay, have answered many of my questions concerning a 1.5jz swap with your thread. Thanks!

There hasn't been a single technical question that I couldn't find the answer to using search....so...everyone and anyone who has contributed accurate info. Thanks!

Thanks Eric, but my expertize is very very limited, and you just happen to ask me a few that I knew the answer too. I'm sure I've been helped by more people than I've named. Most of the moderators and staff have helped me at one point or another. I know Shaeff has gotten me through two code 52 problems before, and Supracentral has helped me with his opinion on certain products.

Our search function is second to none, but a little one on one help can be attained if asked in the right way and you actually put forth an effort to find the answer before asking.

That would have to be Mr. CygnusX1. I haven't really had issues with my car. JJ has helped me out quite a bit without realizing it. I just read his posts and learn something almost everyday. Other than that, the staff here have been very helpful with every question I've had for them.

I completely forgot about Shaeff. He is the reason I actually joined this forum. One day while cruising the web for mk3 info I came upon a post he made in mk3tech with a reference to SM. Needless to say, I joined as soon as i could after i read a few threads.

I've also gained most of the useful information i've learned just by reading threads that I had nothing to do with

DrJonez convinced me to buy swivel headed ratcheting wrenches. I say thank you and nod my head in the general direction of Detroit every time I pull off my turbo or downpipe.

IJ. has been more than a little bit helpful over the years as well, even if nothing in particular sticks to mind.

Mr. Search has been great! Can't really think of anyone off the top of my head but I know that plenty have helped me with small issues here and there over the years.

GrimJack convinced me to tackle my BHG a couple years ago and got me hooked. :) I've taken a lot from Jdub, and JJ has dragged me by my ear to a good answer once or twice. ;) I've also used Dylan's How To (cwapface) threads quite a few times - there's nothing like a picture walk through on a new job.

A couple of local members who have been a HUGH help: MDCmotorsports (Jon) and dbsupra90 (Dave). :bigthumb:

Jay has helped me put away some steak and BBQ on occassion. :D

IJ and jdub are the main ones I go to ask for information. Haha, I feel bad sometimes as I PM them for a lot of things, but yeah, they're very helpful to me.

There are some other members that help me as well. JAV, cuel, etc.

I would also like to thank BigAaron for flying out from California, and helping me with my 1jz swap and numerous other projects.

Da89soup also flew in from North Dakota and helped me paint my interior and numerous other projects. He also flew in and road with me to Texas and back.

I've enjoyed working with George and Noah on George's car on a couple of occasions.

Most of us have been helped be JJ, Jdud, IJ and other administrators, but I would like to know who they go to when they have a question.

Depends on what my question is about - though generally, if one of us have a question (well, I do at least) I like to post it up - as hopefully, it's a thought provoking exercise, and will help another down the line that may have the same question.

In all honesty, Mike has helped all of us the most, by creating the community in the first place.

I enjoy the hell out of my conversations via PM with IJ and JetJock, as well. With IJ on the mechanicals, and JJ on the electrical, the stock system doesn't have a chance of screwing up ;)

I'd have to give thanks to this entire community. I've gotten help from everyone here, many times over, and only hope to help others as they have helped me.

Isn't that what makes this community so awesome?

In all seriousness for me it has been GrimJack (Dave), IJ. (Ian), bigaaron (Aaron), RaptorRacing (George), and for the Amazing Maft Pro thread, NJsupraA70 (Steve).

But everyone contributes here quite often, so it is hard to thank everyone for all their help.
