Which spark plug wires to use when mounting the coil packs on the firewall?

Hey everyone I am about to have my coil packs mounted on the firewall, for those who have done so already I ask you which plug wires did you use? And where to get them? Kinda need them asap to finish up the car! Thanks...

Edit: I realize the title and question is very direct, I'm just trying to get an honest answer so I can buy a set!! Thanks...

I've wondered what they've used as well. I will say that worse case scenario, although I'm not big on the idea myself, you could make your own wires.

Yeah I'm just wondering if those would match up with the coils themselves...I may give Summits own brand a shot though, for $34 you can't really beat it..Anyone care to chime in as if they would work or not, kinda waiting on what is certain to work..Thanks Orion!!

Yeah his link has a better set. I think you'd want a 90* from the coilpack, but no bend from the spark plug, which is what that has. I'm not entirely sure that they'll fit in the coilpacks to be honest, since we have a pretty thick rubber boot connection there, but it's worth a shot. As a universal set, I'm sure something in that set should work.

Yeah, the craftsman that is working on my car now used a set almost identical to the summit ones listed and they worked!! So for future reference they do work for anyone interested.. Thanks Orion for the input as it is much appreciated!!

I was considering doing this aswell.

I personally wouldnt move it away further than the firewall. That's a fairly convenient place for it if you dont like the stock location; but anything intake manifold related would just clutter it more and probably be even more of a nuisance really

dont you use the same wires just reverse order? so instead of the long one going to 6 it goes to 1.. ?

I'll post pics once I get the car back from the fabricator, I just went to see it today and just heard it run for the first time in almost 4 years!! :love: I'd have to show you instead of explaining the location where he moved it, it's not on the firewall but is very uniquely mounted, I'll post pics once I get it back!!
