so i got this off an n/a, seems to be a short throw, says S3 on the side, i think i've heard of this before. I just want to make sure i can use this on my turbo's tranny. i cant remember if they are interchangeable...the bottom of the shifter is longer then the stocker tho so i dunno. If you have any info on this please let me know...

thanks.

I've got the S3 and I LOVE it! BTW: the S3 is currently on sale over at SS. This is a GREAT time to get one.

Shifts are short and crisp - just a quick flick of the wrist and you are in the next gear.

Try pulling up on the shifter and then try to shift. If it shifts, then the shifter is sliding down too far and catching on the lower set of pivot pins. I'm not sure how this shifter was designed, but the C's shifter come with two half-circle inserts that create a raised floor for the shifter to rest on. You pull out the black bushing at the bottom, drop the half-circle inserts in, put the black bushing on top of those, then put the shifter on top of them all.

The C's and the S3 (or whatever the official name is) are both works of art and are well worth the $.

If the S3 is still on sale over @ SupraSport it isn't much more than then nm shifter and you don't have to ship your shifter out in order to get one.
