Which oil is the right oil???

Use the lightest weight you can that you're not burning up. On my old motor with 100K I was using 20w-50 and only burning up a negligible amount. That's about as thick as I would go though, and I live in Socal for reference. The motor would eat through a quart of 10w-30 in 1000 miles or so. On a broken in rebuild I would go full synthetic 10 or 5w-30

take into concideration the temature u live in.Hotter climates will require a heavy weight oil. It can get hot here in hawaii and never cold so i run 20-50 synthetic on my n/a with 60K. but for your situation i would stay with base oil scence ur comming up on 100k. Using sythetic in your motor might bring about some unwanted leeks.

15W-40 or 20W-50 full synthetic is what I would reccomend, I would reccomend against running the thinnest oil you can. I'm sure others will chime in with more of the same.

Personally I run Amsoil 20W-50 synthetic.

It really depends on your climate. If you routinely operate your vehicle in freezing conditions you should run thinner oil. If you live in the desert you should be looking at thicker oil. Personally I use 10-40 in the winter and 20-50 in the summer but I live in central California.

That is what I do here in Tennessee as well. During the cold months I run 10w30, during the summer I run 20w50. As for now.. its not running. BHG. It doesnt  alot of oil. :) I got lucky on that.
