I have the following three types of BOV at my disposal, (not actual pictures):

If I remember right its a Blitz SS, an older style HKS SSQV and an even older style SSQV.

So yeah gonna be running the one I go with on a JZA70 via a hardpipe connecting the TB to the inter cooler piping. Which one would be best? im more interested in working than sounding good, oh and the blitz/old HKS are used but the really old HKS is actually new (or as new as something that old can be).

I need to get a vid up of how mine sounds, it's the latest and greatest from HKS, with the MK3 specific kit. Sound is distinct, but not overkill.

I have the newer style HKS and the sound was embarrassing. I have a recirc fitting in it, and have it blowing back to the intake between AFM and turbo. I think that even if I go MAP, I'll leave the recirc fitting alone, since it gets rid of the noise.

Of those, I'd also vote for HKS SSQV (third pic) as it's probably the easiest to get an IC pipe fitting for, and known good performance.

I absolutely love my Blitz, but if your running big boost 20psi+ get a Tial 50mm with the proper spring. The blitz works great though and sounds awesome!

Took a old HKS BOV that was broken and cut the flange off it, Tig welded the Blitz flange to that. Didn't have to change the flange on my intercooler pipe for it. Or you can just weld the flange to the intercooler pipe.
