Get on your back and look at the bottom of the radiator. On the passenger side of the car is the feed. this hooks up with the trans oil filter. There is an Arrow on the filter that indicates flow direction. It should be pointing to the driver's side of the car. Then that hose doubles back to the tranny.

SO the passanger line is the feed line and the drivers line is the returnline. Okay thanks

Also, im installing a B&M oil transmission cooler. Does it matter if I install the cooler upside down, with the connection on the bottom?

Wheres this external filter located? are you talking about the tranny cooler inside the radiator?

No idea what im lookin at, my point was there isnt a factory external tranny filter, or at least its not in the EPC and my car didnt have one.

The Tranny lines come out of the tranny and go into either side of the bottom of the radiator cooler and thats it.

http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/EPC/291420/catalog.aspx?F=3514&P=1

Hard to tell, but theres metal lines that thread into the tranny, they go to the front and are attached to the radiator with rubber lines. direct path in and out.

And the front fitting on the tranny is the supply the rear is the return. therefore based on the EPC picture the driverside should be the supply and the passenger should be return. based on IJ's confirmation in this thread aswell.

Do you guys think it would be an overkill if I left my trans oil cooler on the drivers side(behind fog light) and just extended the lines alittle to reach the radiator oil outlets?

I don't feel like relocating my trans oil cooler.

Which I installed on the inlet side of the radiator BTW(wrongside).http://www.supramania.com/forums/images/smilies/nono.gif
