which injector plug goes where

finally got the parts i need to start the supra up but it wont start cuz i have no idea what order the injector clips are supposed to go one.

Some can only reach so far, but some go either way...how do i fix this?

Starting from cylinder #1, it starts w/ the grey clip and alternates grey-brown-grey-brown-grey-brown, you should tell from the reach of the clips where they go.

Yeah they started the color swapping thing somewhere around 89. Before that you just kind of have to guess. Luckily the wires usually maintain their basic shape. Start at the #1, look at the possible candidates and deduce which ones go where.

Myself and several others have posted the correct wire order in the past. It does not go by cap color, but by the wire color. Do a search for this thread, I am just too lazy to do it right now for you. I have the order written down in my note book, but that is out in the shop.

I suggested that the wire order be a sticky along time ago.

All my clips are yellow, unfortunately. Yeah i can guess some of them, but not enough to make the car idle to start swapping them while its running

And the only difference is wire colors, which have no pattern but just randomly different colors. So if someone could post up the order based on wires or link to the page, i cant find it.

1 and 4 is yellow wire and white with blue stripe wire
2 and 5 is black wire and white with red stripe wire
3 and 6 is white wire and red wire

front to back 1-6

Just an FYI, if someone runs across this searching as I did.

The wire colors posted a few up don't appear to be the same throughout all years.

I bought a wiring harness of a 92, and ran into issues when trying to use the previously posted colors.

According to the TSRM dedicated to a 91, the colors are as follows:


1: White/Blue and Yellow
2: White/Red and Black
3: White and Red
4: White/Blue and Yellow
5: White and Red
6: White/Red and Black
