Well my friend gave me a mechanical boost gauge and a narrowband A/F gauge. I don't know if I should get the 3-gauge gauge pod or the 2-gauge. What 3 gauges would you recommend in what order?

voltage gauge = worthless.
Narrow band A/F = worthless

Well I have owned both 2 and 3 piller pods (current is 3) and I like the 2 pod piller the best. It looks alot cleaner when installed and the o jesus handle gets to stay. I would say electric fuel pressure and boost on the piller. Replace the OEM boost gauge with the N/A volt gauge if you really want voltage. I have (starting from top) Fuel pressure, boost, then oil temp in the piller pod. I would install a AFX wide band on the top of the trim for the steering column but pretty soon with all of the gauges it starts to look like a x-mas tree :nono:

EDIT: pic to look at, lol

Well, I got the Narrowband A/F for free so I mind as well hook it up. The only mods I'm gonna do now is probably just a DDP, test pipe, and a boost controller. I don't know if I should just get a 2-gauge pod and stick with the gauges I got for free or pick up a 3-gauge pod and get either oil pressure or wideband for the third gauge.

volt gauge in the supra is worthless IMO altogether. The car does special things when voltage drops to warn you. (unless you get it for free) ;)

Boost isn't really needed eighter. But "nice" to have. But also, proves itself to be worthless.

IMO, you should have a Oil Pressure and Water Temp. Fuel Pressure is nice too, but also proves itself to be worthless. Oil pressure is also worthless if your factory sender is new.

The factory water temp is crap on 95% of cars. As they don't want you to get scared as the temp changes. ;)

No guage. Idiot lights. Guage means take eye off the road. Idiot lights as long ad they are within your field of view. You will know when something is a miss. There is a reason why racecars have more lights than gauges!

oil pressure .....or oil temp...

Oil temp. This way I know when the oil is warm enough to feed the 7m some boost. My OEM oil pressure gauge works just fine for me. All I need to know is that the oil pressure is there with our high flow / low pressure system.

Figgie's post +100000 ;)
