i'm installing a walbro and all new lines in this weekend, and i want to relocate the filter with a universal one near the firewall (for future changes)
i've hunted around town but all i can find are low pressure ones
and the high pressure ones that they try to sell me are $120 :umno:
i paid $20 for a toyota one 2 years ago, and i'd like to stay in that price range maybe a bit more

so wacha got?

any help would be apreciated

By new lines do you mean new Toyota ones? Or did you go with larger diameter custom lines? If you have larger diameter lines you will want a fule filter with larger diameter inlets/outlets. The one I am using is an Earls Racing one. $50-60cdn.

i wanted to go with this setup because i need to change all the lines.
tank to firewall (all three lines)
i'm always kinda scared to call toyota for anything, unless i really have to!!
another Q .
i've also eliminated the charcoal cannister, is there anything that i can do to that line so it doesnt run all the way to the engine bay?

Are you using stock diameter lines?

For the evaporation line (charcoal can) you can vent it anywhere really, just keep it away from a heat source, gas fumes ignite easily...

To add to what blackout_89t said...

For the evaporation line I bent the hardline 90 degrees so now it points at the filler neck. I cut the line a bit and then added a hose to the end and it vents out the side now in the right rear. See picture.

Wix makes a better filter IMO. The toyota one will last, but it's more restrictive IMO because it filters way way more than what I would call normal.
