I live in dallas tx and it seems it's impossible to find a decent mk3 turbo supra 5-speed ... I've tried this site, autotrader, cars.com, supra trader, ebay, and some other places ... and it seems all the good ones are in california and way north ... it's funny cuz when I lived in chicago all the good ones were in texas

I've bought two off of ebay. One was good, the other had low compression so I ended up getting a new engine in it. I see a few of them in Texas on ebay. Their are a lot in New Jersey and New York for some reason though. Good luck finding one...........lol

That is way high. I paid $3500.00 for my '91 targa turbo. I also paid $3500.00 for my wifes '89 targa turbo. Her motor wasn't that good though. I drove it home 1200 miles though. Good luck.

I paid $4500 for mine and she's been worth it =] Very strong running 7mgte. I did have it for sale, but I fell in love with my supra. Installed my K&N FIPK today, So far I'm happy with the intake.

I paid $4400 for my 90 TUrbo 5spd Hardtop with mint paint and a few small tears on teh drivers-side leather. THe car is beautiful. No problems so far though I have been doing preventative maintenance. I looked for 8 months to find mine. I saw plenty of crappy beat up ones. You just need to keep looking, and remember, when you see a nice one, you need to jump on it, cancel work if you have to. If you wait, it will be gone. Good luck.

why do people think they can get $6000-$8,000 for them then do they think since an mk4 is $25,000 and up they can get some of that action? .. it sucks big time, I used to have a Stage 5 1990 Twin Turbo Z and it was awesome, I had to sell her because of bad times ... and now they're too expensive and mk4 supra's are ridiculously expensive so i was looking at previous late 80's model Z's and Mk3 supra's ... but they're both getting harder to find

I just lucked into one from a guy who had it shipped out here in CT from CA. He's got a few DUI's and couldn't get it registered or insured without his license. The thing has no rust or dents, strong engine (104K), and all the receipts for maintanence from when it was new. A few minor issues to take care of and I'll be selling this one (can't afford to insure seven cars at once).

Or maybe I'll get rid of one of the others. Not sure.

I flew to Alabama for mine and drove her back! Look around and be prepared to travel to get what you really want. I almost went to FL to get a completely stock 91 with 25,000 miles on it for 16k last year.
