I just bought a set of Sparco Sprint seats. They have mounts on them, but they're not made for my Supra clearly. Is there a place that sells them?

I have a '91 Supra MKIII.

Sparco's site has all the PN's and instructions for install (You need several items, not just the base), any authorized Sparco dealer can get them for you. HPF is one I believe.

Uhm. Went to their site, looks like I can only get them for MKIV! I shall keep looking though.

It's there, they make both flat and tabbed bases. The PDFs just aren't very well organized - searching them is your best bet.

Yup Think I may have found them not bad it looks like they're about 89.00 + hardware kit.

They also say you need sliders, I haven't verified myself if you can solid mount them to the base or not. So keep in mind you may need them as well.

I already have sliders, they work for all mounts. So lucky me I don't have to pay 69.00 per slider.

Question: couldn't someone just mount the seats to a Supra's manual seat bracket/rail?

Manual, possibly. I am thinking about that right now. I will be removing the passenger seat in a minute, and then I will get back to you. I do have two Sparco seats, so I will have both mounted.

I picked up my base's through HPF's a few years back.

Oh nice, sorry to ask, but what is HPS's, and what is there site?

The seats I got I do like and want to keep them. I don't think I will do a cage yet. I also want to keep the rear seats in.

Thanks for the info the car is coming along great.

The route I went was to purchase the Bride bases from MVP for the Mk4. The two rear mounting tabs just have to be cut and rewelded which takes 10 minutes if you have a mig welder. They sit super-low and are less than 70 each with sliders already attached.

I would think the item most closely matching "rail" would be the sliders - but he said he already had them...
