I am looking to buy a 1jz tonight. i have seen many on ebay. They're 1000.00 with auto trans ecu and ignitor. Can I use the auto harness and ecu on my 5-speed different wiring?

Does anyone have a engine? is there anything I should know? Are some ears bad, some good? DO I need front or rear sump or my mkiii?

Thanks!

those "Supra" automatic 1JZs are more often than not Chaser or MKII 1JZ's which require way too much work to really make them cost effective.

Call Jhot Imports in denton, tx or Georgia for a JZA70 set

they are a little over $1700 from them and they come with everything you need for the swap and they stand behind the parts (buddy of mine works there, so im very familiar with the company)

yup, oil pan and mounts need to be changed, harness and ecu are wrong (possible to get them to work tho) youd need JZA70 TT piping if you went with the stock twins (chaser discharge points out at the fender) and theres probably some other things

my motor is a chaser, if i had it over again, id have just gone with the jza70 set for more money. after getting the pan, bellhousing, flywheel, right harness and ecu or getting them to work you've spent way more than the real supra set would have cost you

yup, rear sump for our cars

if theyre listing 100,000 its most likely kilometers, which would be 62,000 miles

I did already Nate. I searched, but there was no real sites I could look at I found that Aaron could help, but I wanted a couple more sources, and also what I should expect to pay. :) Don't worry I use that search button
