Where to find pre-89 lip (stock)

so my car needs a lip...i'd like to buy a aftermarket one but they're impossible to find, so i could just settle for a stock one....anyone know where i can find one?

Which piece is the lip? Is that the lower-most piece that always gets mutilated on parking barricades?

Have you asked Carbon Fiber-FX? Apparently they sell one for $270...

rather have a paintable one myself.

I talked to duane about painting carbon fiber and he said its exactly the same as painting anything else. I believe he said he puts 7 layers of clearcoat on each piece before it leaves him.

lots of clear. i guess i frazed that wrong. i myself don't want to buy a carbon fiber one just to paint it. plus, my guess. carbon fiber would be more exspensive.

CFX sells them in fibreglass. Price is only marginally cheaper.

Dealer sells the stock one for $200 USD.

When you look at the dealer price vs. the CFX one, the CFX one isn't too bad. I thnk the 70 bucks more the CFX one costs is very little for a nicer lip.

If your stock one is just bent and not broken, there's a chance you can straighten it out by pulling it off and straightening the metal bracket that holds it on. It has worked well for some people.
