Ok so I bought a CPS from a member on here that was suppose to be working in great conditions. And when I installed it, it turned out that it was leaking way more oil in the housing thatn my old one I had on. So now my best bet would be to rebuild it, since it dosent cost much to do it. And also I dont want to take the risk of buying another leaking CPS.

So I know where to get the CPS internal seal and the bearing, but where have you guys got the PIN for the gear? I also dont feel like ordering the kit for 40 dlls that will take like 4 weeks to get here, I want to fix this now. Its just that I know Ill need a new pin since the one currrently on the CPS will have to be drilled out.

I also heard from a member on here that they know someone that rebuilds CPS's for $125 or so. I was wondering if anyone knew on how I cant get a hold of him. He'll probably be able to get a PIN for me, im sure, since he rebuilds them.

So where can I find a Gear PIN for my CPS rebuild>?

Thanks :biglaugh:

The pin that comes in the kit from the MR2 club isn't the same as the original - it's a rolled pin, not a solid. I've seen them for sale in various sizes in regular hardware stores. Seems to be working fine in my CPS, anyway.
