From the pics I have seen PTR only us us the runners and puts a whole new tube + tb flange on. They are similar to Seth's long runner although I agree his would likely flow a little more. Then again you would have to be pushing substantial CFMs to max out PTR'S design from the looks of it.

PTR isn't just a flange on the stock runner, but if you were to want to buy Ron's then you better be on your game and hawk the used parts section every second of your life. Obviously, Ron's the most sought after especially with the HKS intake elbow but then again it's discontinued and to answer the OP's question FFIM availability is only from PTR or Ebay thailand manifold. I'm sure Seth has a few sitting around but that might not be the case as he has moved on to producing 2jz manifolds now.

This one? This is the thailand one, for the longest time people have fitment issues by the brake booster. IDK if it has been revised since. Unless you're talking about a different one. Post a link to the one you're looking at.

Those issues are long gone. They were originally designed for RHD cars which is why they had issues here. The owner operates a performance shop and can be contacted on FB if you wish. I'll be running one of these on my car.

Carlos at PTR is a great guy if you decide to go that route.

Funny you ask. We're installing one on Sergio's car this very second.

Except we don't want to get rid of AC so we're mounting the alternator where the PS pump used to be.

He was running that intake but tbh the modded 2j FFIM was more of a pain in the ass to use as far as working on the car was concerned.

Nice, interested to see how it goes in.

So what is he running for powersteering? Also I could see how a short runner would make things easier to access but I would think the 2j IM would be the same if not better than stock. Let me know if you decide to sell it, I was planning on modding one for my car one of these days......I like the stock look of it.

I'm having a hard time getting in touch with Carlos form ptr. I read a earlier review from the eBay ffim and they had to relocate the battery and fuse box . But I heard those issues were resolved. Fernando did that ffim your installing clear the fuse box once the piping is all in. I don't have ac and I'm relocating the battery I didn't want to relocate the fuse block

the ptr one is a great fit and allows me to keep the ac and alternator in the factory location.
so far i love it and the price is great

that looks a lot like the one i have on my car. i ran into a couple issues........ the iac valve hits the brake proportioning valve, and the tb hits the hood. i had to cut out some bracing to make it work. :(

We're getting rid of PS and using a manual rack. Unfortunately, he's had the 2j FFIM sold for awhile now.
