Where should I buy a Rebuilt R154?

I am looking at either rebuilding my current R154 or just going and getting a rebuilt one.
Is there any place I should order from or stay away from?

I was planning on taking apart the one I have and trying to diagnose how much is screwed up inside of it before I made my decision for sure.

Ive never looked inside a transmission personally, I would say buy a kit and DIY, but then again I heard the gears and other parts inside are so small that its a near impossible DIY'er.

I think Im about to sell my W58 when I throw in my R154, want it? That is if your car isnt pusing insane HP

I have a w58 I'm going to use for now.

I will be making too much power for it to handle later on.

I know the link says R150 tranny but if you read down, it's for an 87-93 Supra.

I think that's one of the sites I saw while searching last night. I want to see it the thing is fubar'd so I know what I need or if I can even fix it.

Most of the places I found only had auto's. It's like nobody fixes manuals anymore. :nono:

If I was going to have a R series done, I'd have martin crawler do it.

Google him. He does excellent work with the R series tranny.
