for the past week, i can't boost more than 17psi no matter what i do.

i'm running the joe p MBC and 17psi is the most i can get now. i check for leaks and i can't find any, however the boost comes on slow. i think there is a leak but i sure as hell can't find it.

my IC system is pretty sound and it's all new and not a hack job.

what are the things i need to take a look at??

Mike, what about the cams?

Don't rely on the crank dampner to say its "x" degrees due to the fact they have a tendancy to slip.

Also, check the wastegate assembly and flapper door. Something is letting the exhaust out and not through the turbine.

If all else fails or if all else is right, try the apexi avc-r. My car wasn't boosting good at all. It took forever to boost. I installed the apexi avc-r and it is amazing now. Just thought I would throw that out there...........good luck...................lol

I figured the wastegate was obvious. I thought maybe the engine not loading could be a problem. 10 is correct, but what about advance? I didn't know if you had timing control or not.

nick, i think the timing advance is good. i'm going to test the system tommorow with nitrogen. i have a huge tank with regulator at work. i'll feed it 30psi and see what happens. i'll also look over the wastegate
