Where does this hose go?

I can't figure out where a hose goes to. It is just below the center of the intake plenum and seems to connect to tubing that goes behind the engine. It is not the fuel return hose but seems to be about the same size.

Does it come off between the center runners at the bottom of the plenum...it's the silver part...the hose has a black cover over in this pic.
