I have seen a lot of pictures of the rebuilds and build ups and it seems like a lot of the parts in the pictures are brand new and aren't taken off from part-out cars. Where exactly do you guys buy so much stuff without going broke?

Pretty much anything you go to Lordco or Napa and they charge you over $100 for it, i can't imagine how quickly the bill racks up when you have to buy the fundamental knobs, pipes, screws, and things that are all required for even a small function of the car.

So how do you guys build things without it costing thousands, because i can only imagine that even to rebuild an old car, it must cost in the thousands. Are there any special suppliers for rebuilding cars... because if they are, i'd much rather be buying from them that to pay top dollar to lorco etc. heh.

Save money, spend it wisely, always use protection. (MHG and arp studs)

As for where to buy look at the vendors further down the main forum page, 935 Motorsports, Driftmotion etc.

check champion toyota on supraforums for stock stuff...huge savings over local dealers even with shipping to Canada.

I hear you man. The $100.00 time is fun, enjoy it. Next is the "everything is $1000.00" phase, and it only gets worse.

You couldn't have said it better.

Nate doesn't know where the place is. His car is all done, so there is no point in telling him now.;)

Done? I don't know of such a word..? :icon_conf

:biglaugh:

Lordco have decent prices but not much in regards to performance for the Supra.
