do you need to prep them first?

im going to have my bumper brackets powdercoated and the have some rust on them. need to prep them, or will they prep them?

The place I use always preps. I used to prep before I brought them anything, but they told me not to bother because they do it anyway.

If you find a powdercoater that has good rep, this isn't going to be a problem. They have better tools than me to get stuff prepped correctly.

the powdercoating is free for me :naughty:

and my garage has ZERO room in it, I'd LOVE to have a blast cabnet, cept I have no room.
