I just put some MKIV NA wheels on my 87 and when I turn the wheel as far as it can go the inside of the rim scrapes on the lower control arm. Does anyone else have this problem with these wheels or any other wheels? And how did you remedy it? I was thinking some spacers or shims on the lug bolts behind the wheel?

you can adjust the wheel stops and the scraping will stop. It will affect your turning radius though - but I rarely turned lock to lock anyway.

Can you (or someone) explain further, please?

While you are in there you might want to replace your wheel stop caps - small white plastic cap that keeps your car from making loud obnoxious popping noises when turning at full wheel lock like in parking lots. The caps are inexpensive - unless you feel that candybars are WAY overpriced (and even then these are still inexpensive considering the amount of miles you get out of a pair compared to the average candy bar).
