Wheel shops that rebarrel?

Just wondering if anyone knows of any good wheel shops that can widen stock wheels? (or even make them taller, say 1")

Definitely considering doing this with my 16x7" 5 spokes.

It's called MKIV wheels

no thanks. not wide enough, too heavy, AND worst of all (for my taste) the spokes are rounded.

While it can be done, it's not really worth it (and some would say unsafe). If you run multipiece wheels it's a piece of cake...

While I personally wouldn't do it, widening aluminum wheels is very doable and has been done for years.

I fully intend on widening some sawblades to about 10" in the near future fwiw, there's a local place here that does wheel repair and things like widening

Done properly it's safe, it's been done for years and years.

that being said, aside from very specific cases, it isn't worth the money or effort compared to getting wider wheels.
