Hi,
I am replacing my front wheel bearings on my 88 and just wanted to get an idea what everyone used. I was thinking of using Mobil 1 Synthetic Grease. Pro's.. Con's??

I purchased brand new OEM bearings from Champion and all they have is a slight oil to keep from rusting I assume.

Thanks for everyones input.

Just because they come with grease doesn't mean it's the best, or even close.

Since when do we just leave things alone, anyway?!

Exactly. OEM's tend to try to keep cost down. Redline CV2 is expensive stuff (nearly $60 for four tubes), and not likely in the budget for packing OEM bearings. ;) I'm rebuilding the M3's CV axles with CV2 as well. ;)
