i have as of tonight traded my 1g supra for an 87 supra 7mgte 5spd it has rod knock at the moment but the guy is giving me a new ss t3 t4 mani, a new t70 turbo,a 40 mm wastegate,a triple gauge pod and all the other parts he has for the car also another 7m short block that has been bored .50 over with five pistons. he said the guy who had the block before him lost one. the car is 87 targa 5spd has jdm tails 2.5tt badges and trim. shadow grey and maroon int. 2 extra rims a full cat back exhaust ffim and alot more even for my 1g wrecked and all the parts to fix it. i have to go pick the car up but hes giving me all the extra parts with it. what do you guys think? he also said the car before had right at 500hp and ran close to 10 in the 1/4. is this possible? he had a ffim fmic 60-1 ct26 and alot of other stuff before he got rod knock. sorry for this being so long. but im excited to embark on the new adventure of a T70 powered 7mgte. god i love turbos!:aigo:

i dont know about 10's. duanes has what? 665? at the wheels, runs 11.0. sure he could be in the 10's. but i doubt it with only 500 hp. unless its totally stiped or something. MIKE

i dont know, i think an .84 should spool sooner than 4-4500, unless its none bb. if it is then it should spool sooner. do anything that you can to make that sucker spool sooner, like lighten fly, also wrap and spray your header and turbo, this will keep the exhaust energy inside the pipes, and help direct it where it needs to go, spinnin that turbo. ddp also help.

He won't need a ddp since the t70 isn't internally gated, and he has a 40mm gate for that purpose :icon_razz .

i hear ya guys.im very excite dabout building this 7mgte. but of course im gonna need some help with it...also how would i go about changing my name on here? well. i need some help getting the car down here. i have to go get it and drop mine off but i dont have a friggin truck. i can get a tow dolly for 20 bux a day anyone wanna offer to tow it for me i may swap some of the parts for someone to do this like maybe the other block or something else. just figured i would ask. hehe. also do you guys think the turbo is too big? i was thinking if it was i could go to a 62-1 what do you guys think? if im not mistaken i think he said it was an t3 t4.

i may be selling some of the extra parts when i go pick it up and see what i need , and what i dont . but i let you guys know whats for sale and whats not.

i hear ya. when i figure out what parts i want to keep and what i want to sell ill let everyone know for sure.. i just need to go get the car and then i can see what all i have.
