Let me start off by saying thanks for letting me join the supramania forum I'm looking forward to learning a lot from a lot of you guys and hope some of u can learn. a little something from me I just got my mk3 not to long ago but have always wanted one now that I have mine I have big plans for it but my work is cut out for me as of right now the car has seen much better days well hope u supra maniacs can help a kid out with some tips ...later ...

thanks for the welcome ppl looking foward to this and as for the car other than a cold air intake and cat bak the car is a stock 7m .. planning a 1jz but im lost in what direction to go in . I was told that my w58 has better gear ratio than the r154 so i should leave it on the car if i put in the 1jz .... now i could go on line and find these things out but id rather ask u supra maniacs lol ok ?1 would that tranny even fit the 1jz and ?2 is it a good idea to do so. please do tell and remember that i am new to the supra game so i might sound kinda dumb asking these ? lol HELP and i will post pics soon
Not sure about gearing but if you have a power goal over 300hp I would just try and find a r154 ... that transmission can handle alot more than your w58 .. Also I think you need a different bell housing for the w58 .. which the cost of that would make it pointless to not just look around for a r154 ....... so maybe check the classifieds ?...
true i found two one for 900 and the other for two 2k including the a running 1jz still attached with the ecu and harness ignitors etc what do u think deal or no deal???
