OK here's the deal. I thought stock height was 116.00.I took my head in and they told me that it was below the minimum At 4.565 = 115.97mm But is .03mm below minimum? and it had a .010 = .27mm warp. Did they screw up? Or Am I missing something.

He didn't seem concerned about the the warp he may have switched from inches to mm on me. he said that the stock head is 4.74 = 120.40mm and that my head was way under the minimum at 4.565 = 115.97mm. I think he looked at the wrong specs.

No not for a 1jz. I am building a 7m.

I called them up, and they called to someone to double check their specs and they were told that IJ WAS RIGHT. Now I had taken them another head. they checked it and it was a full head 116.00mm, and had a .002in= .07mm warp. SO I'll be going with that head. The original head that i took them had a pretty good warp on it .010in = 0.27mm. They told me to strip it down all the way and then put the cams in and see if they turn freely. To see if the warp puts a bind on the cams. If it doesn't then take it back and the will resurface it. Does this sound right?

Well the second head passed the pressure test and was resurfaced. the other still needs to be torn down. at least one of them was good. it was a junk yard find . well wish me luck on the rebuild of the head. thanks for the help.
