Whats the highest speed you have ever gone in the MKIII?(nws)

What is the highest speed you have ever gone in the MKIII. Is that with a stock transmission and did the car felt like it could go any faster? It just curious me after reading post after post on the MKIV guys hitting 140-160mph all day no problem

Sorry I have never gone that fast in my entire life. Fastest I have ever gone was 130-135 for 1 minutes in my old car and that was top that the car can handle. It was scary. (And yes it was open road and my car was set up to handle it blah blah.)

The fastest I ever took a Supra was my last one. It was over two years ago, I took it to 150 while racing an SS Camaro. I backed off after I hit 150.

Same here, 160+ with the 1jz after i got it back from Sound performance, Race my friend with his MKIV & a WS6, left them both behind as soon as i switch to 4th.

well 0 Kph!!! lol my speedos been there since i baught the car!! but ive almost topd out my 4th gear.

155 confirmed with the GPS.
(5600ish with the gearing at the time so there was quite a bit left as my RPM limiter was set to 8300)

The Mk3 speedo is a joke over 120 mph you're better off noting what the Tach says then figure out the speed based on gearing/tire diameter.

115-120 according to the speedo so probably more like 105-110.

*oh and mine felt like it had a bit left to it. I would bet I could hit 125 no problem, but maybe not much beyond that.

not have airbags and only shitty seat belts adds some excitement to the ride lol

but me and couple of my friends were on the H3 and they all passed me i wasnt planning on running cause i had a girl in my car but after they passed me i heard "wow...i though you said your car was fast..."

so i had to show her a little haha
