I would like to get your advice on what I should do next to increase HP. This car is my daily driver so I do not want to do anything that will decrease reliablilty. No Nitrous. Here is a currect list of mods completed by the prev. owner, what would you do next.

JDM 7MGTE Engine
ARP Head Bolts
Rebuilt turbo with the 60-1 wheel
Felpro head gasket
K&N FIPK
Fidanza flywheel
Exedy clutch and pressure plate
HardPipes (ceramic coated)
Greddy Type S BOV
Chrome plated valve covers
SupraSport Upper Intercooler
BIC divorced downpipe
Test Pipe Megan Racing
3 inch catback exhaust
Joe P Manual Boost Controller
LM1 Wideband Oxygen Sensor
Eibach lowering srings |
935 Motorsports front strut tower bar

Thank you

i don't think i would push a dd with a felpro head gasket to much if your looking for reliability.

Stock boost gauge?
an accurate gauge should be your next step.
Then walbro fuel pump with 550cc's and either lexafm with safc or maft-pro.

^ Bingo (not that i know from experience... yet)

If i had your car, these would be the next upgrades:
Good electric boost gauge
Walbro 255 and 550 injectors
MAFT-Pro w/ speed density and boost controller (no more MBC!)

Now that i think about it... put all your money aside, boost the shit out of the stock headgasket (don't detonate, and don't throw a rod lol), and then be ready to tear her down, deck the head and block (which means stripping everything down, which means you might as well do the rest of the rebuild while you're at it) And then at least get a MHG. Your arp headbolts will do, i'd also get ARP rod bolts, and main studs! Doing all this (properly), plus a balance job and ideal clearances equals a bomb proof stock build that should hold 450HP at the daily driver reliability!

The reason i said it should hold, is it won't if it's not built perfect!

i think theres more to do before spending close to 2000$

Well, I wanted to say MAFT Pro but last time I recommended a piggy pack some people on here got after me. "Piggy backs are just another weak link, People need something more reliable, They can't possibly do what a stand-alone can, yada yada yada." It's obvious that he needs some kind of fuel control, and upgraded components to match his demanding air flow.
