Ok so Im still not very good with toyotas so Im pretty sure ima sell the supra, Im going to post up my FS thread (from another forum) it has the info and pics on ti and you guys tell me what you think is a fair price for both seller and buyer. Thanks for the input guys.

* Vehicle Year/Make/Model: 1988 Toyota Supra Turbo
* Miles:check in a lil bit
* Price: OBO(Mainly want to trade though)
* Title: Salvage or Clear?CLEAR!!

- Engine:7m-GTE turbo, STOCK. HKS catback exhuast, HKS downpipe.
- Interior:Grey Mostly complete Decent shape for its year.
- Exterior: Macco Sunburst Yellow paint job Chipping bad, But no rust, few dings but overall good shape for the age
- Stereo & Nav:, Sony CDX-M630 Cd player, Eclipse 2 ways all the way around.
- Suspension:Factory TEMS still finctions(automatic dampining adjustment for hard breaking or cornering) With Eibach prokit springs, Ride pretty decent and handles pretty well also.

The Good:factory Turbo, RWD, 5spd, LSD, lots of torque, pretty good condition for its age, Has a targa top!. NO RUST.

The Bad: I cant afford it lol, And local pickup only. And the turbo went bad so it will need another,(has half a turbo welded shut on it now to retain full exhuast, Also have a good core for rebuild)

(Civic is NOT for sell)

As long as you're not trying to sell it here, you'll be o.k. We have certain rules about selling cars here and you have to meet certain requirements to even be able to sell your car here. Since this is just a discussion as to what it's worth I'll give you my opinion, but you're not going to like it.

Without seeing any interior pictures and with the paint like it is and no working turbo, I'd say it was worth maybe a thousand dollars. I don't know if anyone on here would say it was worth any more than that or not.

Check out the for sale section and look at the rules good before you try selling it here. If you try selling it here without meeting the requirements, you'll be handed an infraction and your thread will be closed.

Please read these rules below, because you are walking a thin line between some of these rules. Thanks.

O nah im not trying to sell it on here, Because Im mainly trying to trade it for a honda or nissan fwd, and since I know this is a supra forum no one is going to have one, But ill try to get some pictures of the inteiror up i totaly forgot about that, and although I disagree with the price you said I respect that you can be respectful about your response :D

Somebody will probably chime in and give you another opinion. I paid $3500.00 for mine and it's a 1991 and it was running perfectly with an awesome paint job. Just using that as a basis for my guestimation. Good luck.

I hear that, and I understand man, Im just trying to get a general estimate of what kinda price to start at, even though Im mainly trying to trade it, and I posted up some inteiror pictures I already had, and the car will also come with some misc spare parts, liek a spare low milage LSD rear end, spare turbo head with cams, and some otehr stuff I've yet to go pick up from my buddy I got the car from. But thank you for your honesty and respect :D

If you can't afford the repairs it needs, your buyer will definitely want you to deduct for all of the bad. I could see it bringing maybe $1500 if you held on long enough. But what I see is an undesirable year model, a bad running car, that definitely needs it's non-stock color redone or changed.

I dont see why you guys think its worth so little, other than paint and turbo theres nothing wrong with it, I still drive it like it is, I mean i could prolly part it out for 2k+ but this is why I asked you guys because you know toyotas I dont thus Im getting rid of the car. and forced toque it doesnt run bad at all, still alot faster than all the cars Im trying to trade it for, I dont know where you got a"bad running car" from but this is simply not the case

You asked for our opinion. Put it on craigslist and start at 2k and hope you get 1500... Take any offer in the 1500 range or sit on it for a long time.

I'm guessing what someone would pay who has no idea what they're looking at or getting into. Me personally, I wouldn't pay more than $400. There isn't much money there parting it out. The interior looks good, but it's only worth 300 or so tops. You would think that NA guys would want to buy what they need to convert. I found out that most of them are cheap and I pretty much gave the stuff away or tossed it. This was on a car that I parted out.

just based on what i see i would have to say about $1500,

it just depends on what type of car your trading it for.

Why do you guys keep saying stuff that isnt true about the car, First it was a BAD running car which is totaly untrue now the stereo system needs replaced? where are you guys gathering that info from?? THIS CAR RUNS GREAT, the radio works perfectly I dotn understand where you guys are getting this from, But I assure you this thing still has plenty of get up and go. but thanks for the opinions so far it looks like 1500-2000 is a starting point.

It might run great, but I wouldn't look at it that way. I see a turbo car, that I would have to make turbo. I would also need to repaint and all that jazz. That is a lot of work for more than 1500. I would pay anywhere between 1000-1500 if I was in the market.

They all just looked at the pictures that are missing the stereo...

Replace the turbo (not terribly expensive) and then sell it or drive it. As it is you're not going to get much for it.

As it sits $500, maybe if you find some stupid ricer $1000. Macco single stage paint is bad enough, but yellow... The non-turbo turbo car is going to kill the sale. If I were you I would source a nice used turbo at the very least. Replace the turbo and I bet you could get $1500 or more.
