Okay I been lookin for a Supra for quite some time now and have come across a gem of a Supra.

http://www.cars.com/go/search/detai...+descending|Q-descending|Z-93727&aff=national

Actual miles is around 39650 miles. Pristine condition. Aftermarket wheels. Momo steering wheel. Extremely well taken care of. I got him down to 8100 bux for it. Automatic tranny shifts like new. Other than steering wheel and wheels, it is all bone stock. Would you jump on this?

Sounds really good if I had the money I would jump on it if it was a 5speed but people like diffrent things personaly with a supra the best thing to do is buy a shell with little or no body work or a extreamlly cheap supra for like 500 and up and spend the rest of that 8 grand on it.

That is absolutely false. You will not get a high mileage supra to feel the way it did at 39k with 8 grand. Not to mention he's probably looking for a car to drive, not a bare shell to sit around forever waiting to be worked on.

I say go for it, haggle him down as much as you can. See if you can get it for seven. Anyhoo, it's priceless thing to have a supra that you can mod without restoring first, saves lots of time, headaches and money in the long run. Not to mention resale value will be much higher. I say go for it and don't look back. Have fun!

I come from a land down under
What would I do?

I wouldn't have posted the details here as someone will buy it out from under you at the worst!

At the best the owner will get a lot of interest and won't want to haggle as much!

Just remember, you get what you pay for.

I've owned 2 Supra's now, my first one I looked and found a cheap one that I thought just needed the HG replaced, boy was I wrong. It needed tons of work and I ended up stripping the good parts off it and sending it to the junk yard. Then I found my new one and payed alot more for it and it is in fantastic condition, it was worth every penny.

Zach, I bet you any thing that I can take a high mileage supra, dump $7500 into it and make it perform BETTER then a low mileage completely stock Supra... *Im about to do it, so pay attention :)*

My only deal with this ad: NO PICTURES! The guy has a "Manufacturer Photo: Base Shown"... I want pics of the guys car, interior, exterior, motor, odometer, trunk, under car, every imaginable pic...

Hey guys I have a 40K Supra, no pics or nothin, just trust me, its in great shape... Uh, send me 8500 now... K-thnx, Jake

WOW! That should be tough... I accomplished that with a $300 downpipe. Stock supras are slow... :biglaugh:

I would never buy a mk3 with over 100k and probably wouldnt pay the coin for a low mileage. I'd keep looking. AT's suck plus tan leather is ugly. Was that even an option? Then again, if thats what you're looking for, then go for it. Just don't pay full price. Offer him $6250 :icon_bigg

To feel the same way all you need is new suspension lol j/k well not that I know what you mean but if you search you can find a nice enough shell.

Now I need to test drive a low mileage supra to see what it feels like mine only has 150,000 miles on it. :biglaugh:
