Go through the rest of the car and repair/replace anything that's suspect before you start chasing anymore power these cars have a nasty habit of biting back.
When you're sure it's all good then look at some basic mods starting at the exhaust, there are a LOT of alternatives you don't need to go for the brand name stuff.

Factory hoses as in vacuum or water? Check all of those, especially the water hoses. Check your suspension bushings, they could be sacked out by now .

be careful asking ?'s like that in this forum. Before you know it 1joez will be in here with his bashing. Just make sure that everything is working exactly like it should. a small problem @ 232 crank hp stock turns into a big problem at 225-250 wheel hp.check everything rubber and replace anything cracked or rotted. even most stuff that isnt. flush the coolant and put in a good oil filter (no fram please) and decent oil. Keep an eye on oil level and make sure its perfect stock. I believe that covers most all of it. Its pesky to hear "do your maintainence" when you ask about modding, but it still remains the single most important step. Always. Good luck with everything!
