OK, I was driving on the freeway today and decided to do a hard pull. So I dropped it into 4th and punched it until I fealt like shifting back into 5th and slowing back down to 80. I look down, and my coolant temp guage/tach/boost gauge/turn signals/window switches/headlights all don't work. What wire did I pull loose? I checked all fuses and they were all fine. The only thing I can think of is that I pulled a wire loose when I hit it. I need to put a tie down cable on my motor so it doesn't flex anywhere near as much. Any help I can get would be much appreciated. Oh, and luckily it was still daylight out, and nobody uses their turn signals here in Cali anyways. Thanks all.

Could be ACC circuit. Check the key switch for voltage at position 1 (acc) with the key on. Could be the relay or the fusible link also.

Good luck.

maybe one of the plugs in the cluster was loose, and you knocked it out of place?

edit: never mind, also saw that's not the only thing that went out..

beats me, check your grounds, and pray for the best..

That's probably what it is. I really need to get my engine anchored down with a cable so it doesn't move nearly as much. This is the 2nd time I've pulled something free on my motor by hitting the gas hard. The last time was on my 7M, I broke the knock sensor and had to limp the car back for 10 miles.

My motor mounts are brand new Joe, straight from the factory. Although that is a possibility. Can I upgrade my motor mounts to something stronger besides rigid mounts (which I don't want because of the vibration that will shake my car apart)?
