I've checked the section. everything seemed to come to a halt. didn't even find a permanent design they were going to go with. Correct me if i'm wrong though.

haha.....my car is an '87 with an 89+ conversion. Still currently have my 87 bumper on the car.

I should compare the 2 side by side and look to find all differences. Sidn't think that there were all that many. except for lower grille, fogs and upper grille.

isn't the only real difference between the bottoms that the pre 89's don't go out as far?

There is no way it will fit. Believe me.

if it were made of fiberglass or abs then it will fit with some fabricating. CF will be way to difficult to fabricate i think

there is a final design. you didn't read through it enough. it's based off the pre 89 one design wise, but obviously it's for the 89+ bumper.

Duane is just waiting for more material from his cf supplier so he can get started. Bowing (yes, the airplane makers) are using up most of his supply persons materials.

yup im the guy trying to kick start this gb but we ran into a roadblock for material as stated above. as soon as we get a garunteed supply coming in we can do the deposits and all.
