Hi I am attemting to do the 2jz swap to my 89 chrysler conquest and both of my 2jz blocks that I have us and jdm need lots of work so i want to just build a new one and I want to build it right the first time. I plan on have around 600-700 whp and It is going to be my daily driver. Here is what i was planing on running. And please let me know if this stuff is good Or if I should go with CP,JE wisco ect thanks

Oem 2jz block
Arias forged pistons and rings
Eagle H beam rods with arp bolts
Arp main studs
Oem bearings
use but good shape jdm 2jz crank

It seems like a lot of people run the Arias pistons in the 2jz's are they that good? thanks for all of your help Matt

stock block is good for those numbers, stock rebuild would be the cheapest as well...

conquest with a 2J? dunno if it will fit, or if it would even take the strain of that power as they're not that well build (from what I've seen and messed with)

let's us know how it goes though, sounds fun...
