Well I've been thinking quite a bit about it, and I think I'd like some input from the supra guys. I've got faith in my 7m, but I know deep down inside I'm a musclehead. I crave v8 rumble to the point that I dream about it. Anyone else contemplating a 350 swap? Now don't get me wrong im not planning on just any swap to like a carbed truck 350 lol if its going in there its gonna be like a fuel injected LT-1 or something. I've gotten plenty of crap from my friends about the idea "It just won't sound right, that car with that engine noise" or "Dude, its a toyota that would be just wrong" or my favorite from my girlfriend "Your car is a ricer car, don't make it something its not". What's up dude, seriously, if you want to swap ANY motor into your car its totally up to you. You spend the $$ on the car and you spend the hard time and blood for it. I know you are looking for support but just remember when you start doing anything big, FINISH it. In the end all the haters will be slobbing your knob and asking fo a ride. Thats when you charge them hella gas fee's or just deny the request. I want to go 1J in my 88 Supra. Lots of people tel me why do i want to spend so much on such an old car. I tell them this,
1. Its a supra
2. its an inline 6 TWIN TURBO motor
3. chassis has 72K miles!
4. chassis has NO RUST!!!!!!!
5. When done it will run better, sound better, and be faster then their 200+ car.
6. its my money period.
Just remember keep your head up, shit doesn't always work out the way you want to, just get it done the correct way and enjoy when complete
