OK last year I crashed my supra it was my fault but then again that car was disappointing me anyway but i kept alot of stuff from the old car and about to finsh rebuilding the motor I bought a shell and was gonna put together another supra but right after I bought that shell I bought a ae86 coupe and I am stuck on what to do so I am need help weighing my options the pros and cons

PROS

The supra is a 1987 hard top 60,233 miles orginal automatic but i got a 5 speed conversion with a ok body kit

the my ae86 coupe has a 100,000 or so miles and 5 speed gts rear and motor and even when it ran like crap o i love driving it

CONS

The Supra is a lil work to get it together and I wanted a 89 and up but only mangage to find this and i payed like 1200 and it still think is abit much for a shell, and when it did try to sell her every body want to rip her a apart and I want the supra to live on

The ae86 is a bastard child since day one, timing off so it runs bad no brakes due to sloppy disk brake conversion and swapping a big motor in it will spoil the true nature of the car

So my option was to finish the supra my 7m and 3sge my ae86, or 1JZ my ae86 and sell my supra right iI wanna give up cause at this rate I wont have nothing to race for the summer

I was going to suggest the plan that you have. But, I'll tweak it a lil for you. Put the Supra together, and do a little racing this summer in it. You may learn to like it. Repair what needs to be repaired on it. I really like the front bumper, if it weren't broken. Put off making a decision until after the summer. Then, either keep the low mileage Supra if it has grown on you, or repair what was torn apart by others (consider those others prospective buyers). If you sell it, you want to get the best you can out of it. A $10 repair can actually be the difference between sale or no sale. If you sell it, pour that money into the AE86, and build it into the car you want it to be.

How dare you suggest selling a Supra! You should be banished, immediately!:biglaugh:
