what throttle cable do i use for 1jz?

i don't know what throttle cable to use for the 1jz in a mkIII? which one is a direct fit or is the closes to a direct fit?

4 cylinder? WTF are you talking about? The JZA70 throttle cable (which is designed for a RHD 1JZ Supra) is 5 or 6 feet long. The JZA80 (MKIV) TT throttle cable is just long enough and is a perfect fit. Although you will fight with the cable when connecting it at the pedal. The 1G motor is totally different from the 1JZ and 2JZ FYI. That's the only 4 banger I can think of that you wold be refering too.

nah, just the run of the mill 92-96 4 banger camry.

The camry throttle cable fits like a glove, you have to swap the bracket by the pedal, and then it's a bolt in affair. I have a 6 cyl camry and the cable is the same so any cable 4 or 6 cyl from 92-96 should work.


Here's a pic of the 4cyl cable on my car:

It's pulled out but you can tuck it down beside the cam cover if you dont want it running over the top.

I cant believe nobody see my post in supraforums about the Camry and Corolla throtle cable. The Camry cable is about 1 inch longer than the Corolla cable. The both works much better than the mk4 ones.

1Gs are not 4 cylinder engines, so slow your roll with the "wtf are you talking about" attitude.

and if you know anyone with a twin turbo camry, I'd love to see it. Sounds cool.
