i picked up a 1990 mustang lx 5.0L o2 sensor. 3 wire, threaded right in. its easy to hoook up, because its the same as our cars, 2 colors of one wire, 1 of the other. i dont remeber excately what wires go together, but its easy, just match the 2 colored ones with the 2 colored ones.

By the way, all the threaded 02's I've ever seen (like 100's) are the same thread size. When I needed one for mine, I just called up Carquest, and they carry them in stock, $36.:biglaugh:

Any universal 3-wire bosch sensor will work (as a threaded -- not for stock fitment). You should be paying around $25-$35 for one that is universal. A little more for one that is intended for an application (with a plug on the end of the wires)

yeah i got it figured out...i just put a dp on my car that had a threaded bung on it rather then the stock two bolt.... i knew there was the mustangs ones i just wanst sure if there were different thread sizes or pitches that i had to make sure i got for the bung i had....

the mustang one went right in and it was 40.... i just soldered the stock o2 connector onto it and was good to go.... my old o2 sensor's heater was broken...so it took like 5 minutes or sometimes more for the car to "warm up" and be good to go....with the new one the heater instantly warms it and its much better :D
