what size is are the stock head bolt sockets?

They are allen bolts however.

Looks like you know that.. 10mm allen. Get one about 4" long if you can, it makes getting around the cams very easy.

I got a 10mm Allen wrench, cut off the angled part and used a 10mm socket for the torque wrench

The steel is very hard...you will need an air cut-off tool or a disk grinder. A hack saw is not going to work very well.

10mm allen craftsmen for a 3/8s ratchet + extension will do the trick. It is a little tight in some spots but it is still fairly cheap and easy to do.h
