what kind of compression should i run? im going for 500rwh

i dont know much about building high horse power engines but i heard the gte has an ultra accesivly low 8.5: 1 maybe up it a little to 9:1. sorry im not much help just saw your thread was lonley

nothing wrong with stock compression, esp for that hp level.

^Daves right. Also, compression depends on how large of IC you are running, ignition timing, and fuel type.

You could run 12:1 with boost if you ran alcohol full time, but you aren't.

Typically, anything at 9:1 or lower is acceptable.

well my intercooler is 24"x12"x3"!!! does boaring the block boost the compression at all? or if at all possable should i stay with stock boar?
